Newfoundland Twitter Top 20
Twitter has been around since 2006 but only in the last few years has it really taken off in the province. While we can’t say that we have access to any statistics on Twitter users in the province, it seems like almost everyone has an account on the social media service. A large majority of these people with accounts tend to tweet sporadically, but others have embraced getting their message out 140 characters at a time.
So what we’ve tried to do is assemble the top 20 Twitter accounts of people or businesses tied to the province. While this list is highly subjective and based on who we find to be entertaining, we did base our list on the following couple of factors:
- They have to be frequent tweeters
- They have to provide value in the form of information or humour
If you feel we’ve left someone out or feel like someone should have been left off the list, please let us know – either in the comments below or on Twitter with the hashtag #NLTwitter20
