Explosion in Torbay

Residents of Torbay got quite a fright yesterday afternoon after an explosion echoed throughout the community.

A fire broke out at a residential garage on Indian Meal Line and before fire fighters got to the scene the garage exploded producing a booming echo throughout the town and a large fireball that filled the sky with smoke. Luckily no one was close enough to the garage at the time of the explosion to be injured.

A resident of the town happened to be filming the fire at the time of the explosion and posted the video to YouTube.
